Optimal wavelength & large spot sizes
A wavelength of 980 nm and very high fluency allows maximum absorption of oxyhemoglobin
and minimized competition with melanin in the epidermis. The result is that VR1000™
achieves excellent results in vascular and dermatological procedures.
The VR1000™ diode laser permits exceptionally large spot diameters from 3 mm up to 10 mm.
Such large spot sizes permit the effective sealing of vessels of more than 2 mm as often found in fair complexions.
Double Pulse System
Difficult cases can be treated conveniently as a result of the incorporated double pulse system.
A short pause between pulses permits recuperation of the epidermis from the two laser pulses,
and accumulation of heat in tissue or vessel is avoided.
Contact Skin Cooling System™
VR1000™ is combined with the safe and effective Contact Skin Cooling™ system which,
owing to its transparency, allows the skin to be cooled before, during and after each laser shot
meaning that the patient suffers no pain or epidermal damage.
