More than 150 podiatrists in the III Meeting of Podylas™ Users

The increasingly large family of podiatrists who use INTERmedic’s Podylas™ laser system met one year more to share experiences and knowledge about this technology.  More than 150 professionals from all over Spain attended the III Meeting of Podylas™ Users, held in late January in Madrid (Spain), either in person at the headquarters of the College of Podiatrists of the Community of Madrid or following the meeting by streaming from the College of Podiatrists of Catalonia in Barcelone, ​​the College of Podiatrists of Euskadi in Vitoria and from the offices of Disamed, in Seville.

Dr. Antonio J. Zalacain and podiatrists Elizabeth Tió and Peña Martin, all with extensive experience in the use of Podylas™ for different foot pathologies, explained to the audience the tricks and parameters used in laser treatment of onychomycosis, plantar warts and other foot pathologies such as hallux valgus.

During the event, new treatment protocols were presented such as the “wheal” technique for plantar warts, presented by podiatrist Peña Martín. Another new feature of the meeting was the presentation of a new handpiece for the treatment of trigger points through regenerative Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), which is able to stimulate these points more effectively and with less energy.
