The procedures which are ambulatory and well tolerated by patients, are performed under local anesthesia and after care treatments are simple. The article also highlights the usefulness of intralesional photodynamic therapy in the treatment of keloid scars and fistulas of suppurative hidradenitis, pathology in which this technique “offers a 70% complete healing and 20% good response” in the treated area according to Dr. Suárez.
